What happens when God's people begin to pray for missions. They gain a love for the world, they are called out and equipped of the work God would have them to do.  But also, the person praying will develop a willing heart.

Instead of excuses not to follow God's promptings, you will find reasons to obey God's Word.  As we pray for missions and ministry, God will move upon our hearts as he did the hearts of Saul and Barnabas to sacrifice, surrender, and serve. Just like Isaiah, we will declare, "Here I am, Lord, send me!"

To receive a heart that is missional, one need just do two things:  pray and fast.  As you pray today, ask yourself...What is God asking of me this year to fulfill His Great Commission so that He might receive the glory due His name?

In the Old Testament, the most recognized symbol of the presence of God was the ark of the covenant.  Wherever the ark was, God's presence was there.

Daily Bible Verse

2 Kings 5:26 - "And he said unto him, Went not mine heart with thee, when the man turned again from his chariot to meet thee? Is it a time to receive money, and to receive garments, and oliveyards, and vineyards, and sheep, and oxen, and menservants, and maidservants?"
